Dirt Late Models Rock The King of Kwinana

Last weekend during the support of the sprintcar "King of the Wings" 21 Dirt late Models made the trek to the Perth Motorplex for their King of Kwinana meet.

Friday nights show was set down for heats with a heat again on Saturday night as well as a 20 lap main event.

The racing set down by this division during the two day show was second to none & watching guys like Brad Ludlow, Craig Vosbergen come through lapped traffic was worth the price of admission alone.

One of the big improver's late into the 07/08 season is the Busselton boy Kevin Bell in the Paradise Motor Inn #5 Mastersbilt, he had a heat win & finished second overall in the Perth Motorplex points for the weekend.

With the 20 lap final ahead of them high point scorers Kevin Bell & Craig Vosbergen earned the front row of the King of Kwinana feature.

As the green flag dropped the big mover was Brad Ludlow in the #92 Minetec Communications GRT, he tagged on the back of Craig Vosbergen for the entire 20 lap race distance, the two were dicing through lapped traffic and during this setting some pretty fast lap times, with 5 to go Brad was getting closer to the #12 Rocket of Vosbergen and tried to look at a low line for a move by, but with track conditions the way the were being up high on the wall was clearly the fastest line around.

Final placings for the King of Kwinana were as follows: 1st Craig Vosbergen, 2nd Brad Ludlow, 3rd Brad Blake, 4th Kevin Bell, 5th Matt Noakes, 6th Ben Ludlow, 7th Terry Chamberlain, 8th Ryan Halliday, 9th Jay Cardy, 10th Veronica McCann, 11th Phil Richards. DNF: Clint Noakes, Jamie Oldfield, David Nylander and Jeremy Hale.
