Long Time Between Drinks For Vosbergen

It was a tough contest at Smokefree Collie Speedway for the running of the Collie & Districts Community Bendigo Bank West Australian Late Model Championship, but in the end one man stood tall. And that man was Craig Vosbergen.
Who’s Who Could Win This One At Collie
The upcoming Collie Community Bank Western Australian Late Model Championship will be one of the most hotly contested title events to be held in Western Australia this summer. And there are plenty of contenders who could win the crown! For two of the young guns a lack of laps in recent meetings may hurt them. Warren Oldfield and Mick Hamon have both been sidelined with motor woes but both will be ready to fire up and try and claim the crown. For Oldfield he once again won’t be running his own #15, this weekend jumping in to the car brother Jason has been running, the ex-Jeep Van Wormer machine owned by Brian Litchfield.

Vosbergen Claims King Of The Ring.
He had claimed the crown once before and now Craig Vosbergen has done it again, winning the 2011 King Of The Ring at Albany’s Atwell Park Speedway last Saturday night. Round 11 of the R2C Competition Filters Pro Dirt Series didn’t begin well when a downpour prior to heat one slowed down the nights proceedings. After some enormous work by the track crew the meeting got underway after a delay of approximately an hour
  The Battle Continues At Albany
The R2C Competition Filters Pro Dirt Series has proven to be one hell of a battle at the top of the points table as Craig Vosbergen and Brad Blake can’t be separated as the season starts to wind down. With only six nights of racing to be run the season long battle could not be closer.
  Ludlow Claims Win #4
Once again the thundering Late Models of the LMRA out of Western Australia showed just how good they can be with a blistering display of racing at last Saturdays R2C Competition Filters Pro Dirt Series round at the Perth Motorplex. And in the end Brad Ludlow proved to be the one to catch in his DiCandilo Steel City/Lucas Oil Products #92 GRT. When asked afterwards how it felt to be back on the podium he replied laughing “…two weeks too late!!” referring to the early exit with damage from the recent Australian Championship
LMRA Eager For Round Ten Of R2C Series

After the frustration of missing out on a nights racing at the recent running of the R2C Competition Pro Dirt Series round in Kalgoorlie, all the teams are eager to get some laps in at this weekends round at the Perth Motorplex. A quality field has nominated for the upcoming round with seventeen entries having been submitted, and there will be plenty of challengers for the win.
