The 9th round of the R2c filters Prodirt series at Kalgoorlie was called off due to unforeseen circumstances . The series will continue at the Perth Motorplex next Saturday 5/2/11.
This was unfortunate as a large field of late models from all over the southwest including the newly crowned Australian champion Brad Blake and series leader Craig Vosbergen had assembled in Kalgoorlie for a highly anticipated race meeting which had been heavily promoted by the Kalgoorlie club and the LMRA.

It will be a welcome return to the west for a number of the stars from Late Model Racing Australia as they return from the east to once again join the R2C Competition Filters Pro Dirt Series for Saturdays round at Kalgoorlie Speedway.  One who will be excited to be racing will be newly crowned Australian Champion Brad Blake who claimed his fourth national title, cementing his place in history as one of the best sedan peddlers in the country, and the first to win the championship held outside of Western Australia, at the Timmis Speedway in Mildura, Victoria.

Brad Blake has won his 4th LATE MODEL NATIONAL TITLE in Mildura tonight. - Other place getters - 2nd Blair Granger QLD - 3rd Matt Crimmins SA - 4th Ross Nicastri NSW - 5th Michael Holmes WA.
