It was good to see David Nylander back in a late model last Sunday at Kellerberrin where he was getting in some early practice before the development series. Matt and Alan Nylander were also taking the opportunity to polish up on their skills together with Ian Birt.
Craig Vosbergen was on hand with the championship winning car and there must have been an army of helpers taking it for a drive. Craig showed the fast way around. Jeremy and Ray Hale also had the AJN car out that Jeremy used in last years Development series.

The impressive nomination list of 15 cars for next Sundays(5/6/11) first round of the LATE MODEL DEVELOPMENT SERIES at Ellenbrook Speedway is a strong endorsement of last year’s initiate by Late Model Australia to create an opportunity for up and coming drivers to learn driving and set up skills together with race craft in a strictly controlled environment.

Michael Holmes will be testing his new ride for 2011 at Ellenbrook Speedway @ 5 june. The new car is the ROCKET  that Steve Francis drove in the  2010 WORLD 100. What more could you ask for ?.

At the same meeting Michael’s crew chief Jock Murray will be driving “THE OLD CAR” Will Michael be running a 2 car team for season 2011?      

NSW Late Model racers are going topless at Tyrepower Sydney Speedway (NSW) Saturday May 14. But before everyone gets too excited, or shocked (!), it’s the cars that will be racing topless, not the drivers. The roof panels on the thundering V8 sedans will be removed, giving the public a clear view of the drivers at the wheel.
